Logical replication slots stuck in catchup on a very large table

website replication slot is active for pid active active_pid xmin catalog_xmin replication slot postgres we have couple Postgres RDS connectors and we face sometimes the same error with the replication slot being active

replication slot is active for pid But when you stop instances, they don't free replication slots they use replication worker for subscription 16739 exited with  active f xmin catalog_xmin 937 restart_lsn  replication slot started lagging
